With 92 marked trails and 14 lifts, Falls Creek offers 450 hectares of skiable terrain, making it the largest ski area in Victoria.
However, it is important to plan ahead to secure entry to the national park. It is also advisable to book accommodation well before your chosen travel dates as the resort fills up quickly in the snow season.

Falls Creek is a 4.5 hour drive (356km) from Melbourne (closest international airport) or 1.5hr drive from Albury (closest regional airport). Falls Creek is a day’s drive from Sydney (690km).
During winter you will need to park your vehicle in overnight car parking.

At 2.2 kilometres, Wombats Ramble is Australia’s longest green run and a favourite of many skiers and snowboarders at Falls Creek. The entire length of Wombats Ramble is lined with high voltage Green Power floodlights which will light up the trail from the top of Falls Express at Cloud 9 all the way downhill to St Falls Hotel.

Thursday nights come alive at Falls Creek during July and August with an exciting fireworks show in the Village Bowl, starting at 7:00pm. Pete the Snow Dragon is often in attendance also!
Open daily from 2pm to 6pm, our purpose-built Snow Tube Park in the Village Bowl provides fun for the whole family while on a break from the slopes.
Numbers are limited so please visit the Activities Desk located at Falls Creek Sports in the Village Bowl to arrange your half hour Snow Tubing session during your visit to Falls Creek.
